Our customer, a multinational Microsoft Gold Partner involved in digital transformation for hundreds of companies worldwide is currently recruiting a Bookkeeper / Account Officer.

In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Accountant and the managing partners. You will be responsible for supporting the financial activities of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting experience in a professional services firm or in an international company
  • The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Understanding contract and license subscription billing would be an advantage  
  • Experience with Accounting ERP’s and Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be a strong asset
  • Perform general accounts department duties such as invoicing and bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation with debtors and creditors
  • Management of Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Revenue Recognition and Cost Accounting etc
  • Assisting in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, including variances
  • Bookkeeping activities
  • Reporting and analysis

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is essential, Greek is a plus
  • LCCI or Accounting Degree is desirable, work experience in a similar role is more important.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Well Organized and methodical
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work in Cyprus without any work restrictions
  • Conscientious positive outlook and willingness to learn and increase knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal (team) skills
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the business
