We invite applications from people with a University degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Mathematics or another related field for the position of reconciliation officer to monitor and perform the reconciliation of clients’ funds daily: from third party statements to SAP accounting software in accordance with regulations and to assist the Reconciliations Team Leader in the preparation of analytical reports.

Job Description

  • Monitoring and performing the reconciliation of clients’ funds daily: from third party statements to SAP accounting software in accordance with regulations.
  • Monitoring of workflows (deposit/withdrawal process in internal system) and responsibility to investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and processing of transactions in SAP accounting software.
  • Performing client data reconciliation, confirming that adequate funds are kept segregated to cover client balances.
  • Preparing various daily/weekly/monthly reports, related to client funds and balances.
  • Organization and delivery of reconciliation information to the Finance and Internal Audit and Reporting teams.
  • Daily monitoring of financial institutions and payment providers balances and assessing any settlement or transfer that needs to be requested.
  • Communication and coordination with various departments within the Company and third parties for issue resolution.
  • Assisting the Reconciliations Team Leader in the preparation of analytical reports.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Mathematics or another related field.
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially a sound knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Proven analytical abilities, problem solving and investigative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and following through to resolution.
  • Excellent time-management skills: Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and monitoring skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP accounting software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Methodos reconciliation software will be consider as an advantage.
  • Experience in a relevant role within a FX environment considered as an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM/CMS and how this is linked to client transactions will be considered as an advantage.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Team player with the ability to cooperate with multiple parties.
  • Fluency in Russian language is essential.
