Our client is the financial division of a PLC listed on the FTSE 250 and having over 600 clients across 80 countries spanning CFD retail brokers, banks, hedge funds, professional traders and asset managers. A market leader in next-generation multi-channel trading software, systems and liquidity services. 

They  are currently expanding their Client Services team and seeking to recruit a Senior Trading Solutions Analyst, with an ambition to be part of a company with big ambitions.

The Client Services team has various areas of responsibility, from monitoring and managing our large datacentre installations, setting up advanced solutions with our clients to maintaining relationships with designated clients and handling client queries on an ad hoc basis.

This position is both technical and business-focused and gives you a great opportunity to learn and experience the full lifecycle of advanced global financial trading. You will be given full product training.

Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor and operate our live trading platforms in a 24×5 team (Shift Based Rotation)
  • Monitor and optimize our many B2B bank and client lines
  • Configure and roll out technical solutions for clients
  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day client activity
  • Assist the sales team with developing business
  • Setting up client’s accounts in various systems and according to client’s specifications
  • Risk management (matching trades monitoring outside of normal working hours of the Operations department)

Requirements:

  • Good Experience and background within the financial services industry; in a FX/OTC product
  • Experience in the FIX protocol and dealing with FIX logs – Tag reading
  • Experience in MT4/5 (MT4/MT5 Manager/Administrator)
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with critical decision-making ability
  • High analytical skills to create the correct solution
  • Stamina, flexibility, hands-on and ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a structured way with clients and the business unit
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise issues and workload
  • To be client focused and have a result-driven approach
  • Proactive, self-motivated, quick learner and innovative
  • General understanding of networking, Windows servers and application life cycle is a plus
  • Experience using Salesforce is preferable
  • Additional language(s) is a plus for this role
